Shiv Sena (Udhav Balasaheb Thackrey) camp senior leader Sanjay Raut has alleged that a “deal of Rs 2000 crore” had taken place to purchase the iconic party symbol of Bow and Arrow and the party name.

Rajya Sabha Member Raut in a Tweet had claimed that Rs 2000 crore was a preliminary figure and this was 100 percent true. Further he revealed that this information to him was given by a builder who is close to the ruling dispensation and also stated that his claim was backed by proof which he would bring to light soon.
Raut went on to allege “The EC’s decision is a deal,”
Also stated,
“I have reliable information that there has been a deal of ₹ 2000 crore to get the Shiv Sena name and its symbol. This is a preliminary figure and is 100 per cent true. Many things will be revealed shortly. Never before this has happened in the country’s history,”

Raut also countered the jibe which was pelted by Union Home Minister “Amit Shah on former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey “licking soles of those with opposite ideology”.
Raut further countered
“What is the present chief minister licking? Maharashtra doesn’t give importance to what Shah says. The current chief minister has no right to take Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s name.”
Shinde Camp Hits back
In the meantime Shinde Camp follower , MLA Sada Sarvankar has dismissed claim made by Sanjay Raut by stating “Is Sanjay Raut a cashier?”
Amit Shah on offensive
Meanwhile Union Home Minister Amit Shah has gone on offensive against Uddhav Thackey faction of Shiv Sena and on Saturday had stated that those who chose to “lick the soles” of people with opposite ideologies have found which side truth was on after the EC declared the faction headed by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde as the real Shiv Sena and gave it the ‘bow and arrow’ symbol.
Amit Shah has also reiterated that there was no deal agreement on sharing the Chief Minister’s Chair in the run up to 2019 Assembly Elections.
