US President: Joe Biden has once again been found infected with the Coronavirus. His quarantine was over after being free from corona infection just three days ago. Re-emergence of infection in Biden after treatment with anti-viral medication is a rare case. White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor said in a letter that Biden “has no symptoms this time around and is feeling well.”
Joe Biden “tested positive late Saturday morning, by antigen testing,” and “will reinitiate strict isolation procedures,” presidential physician Kevin O’Connor wrote in a memorandum.
“The president has experienced no re-emergence of symptoms and continues to feel quite well. This being the case, there is no reason to reinitiate treatment at this time,” he added.
According to the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Biden will once again be in quarantine for at least five days.
The agency said that in most cases of re-emergence of the infection, the symptoms are mild and there is no information about patients falling seriously ill during this time. The White House had informed about his visit to Michigan on Tuesday, just two hours before the announcement of Biden being found infected once again.
