West Bengal: ‘Am in good mood, don’t ask about that’ Mamta Banerjee on Vande Bharat stone-pelting

West Bengal: Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, declined to offer any remark on the two consecutive episodes of stones being thrown at the Vande Bharat Express. Howrah and New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal are connected by the recently launched Vande Bharat Express.

The Vande Bharat Express was stoned twice in two days, days after its debut. The railway’s C-3 and C-6 coaches had their glass panes damaged on Tuesday when some anti-social individuals threw stones at it as it was approaching the NJP yard, however the first stone-throwing incident on the train was reported from Malda’s Kumarganj station on Monday.
