Pratigya actor Pooja Gor mourns ‘bauji’ Anupam Shyam’s demise, says ‘your affection will be missed’

New Delhi: The sudden passing away of veteran actor Anupam Shyam has left everyone  in utter shock and pain. His demise has also saddened his Man Kee Awaaz Pratigya co-actor Pooja Gor who took to social media to post a heartfelt note. 

“‘Pratigya’ and ‘Sajjan Singh Thakur’ may believe in different ideologies, but the relation of ‘Bauji’ and ‘Bitiya’ was very special. You took me under your shelter, taught me the correct pronunciation of words,” she wrote. Pooja also thanked the late actor for introducing her to Hindi literature and said that she still has the books he gave her.. “I will be forever grateful. The priceless books of Hindi literature given by you are still with me. Your affection, protection, and your incomparable talent will be sorely missed. Om Shanti,” she said in her note.

Along with her heartfelt note, Pooja also posted a string of throwback images and videos of Anupan Shyam. He had died on late Sunday night due to multiple organ failure at the age of 63.

Among others who mourned the demise of the late actor include Sanjay Mishra. He took to Instagram and wrote,” Another chapter torn away from the book of life #Anupam Shyam.”

While Anupam Shyam has an extensive career in acting spanning decades, it was Man Kee Awaaz Pratigya that made him a household name.
