Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will soon meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Punjab CM Mann will come to Delhi on 12 April for this special meeting. This will be Mann’s first courtesy meeting with the Home Minister after becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Earlier, Bhagwant Mann had come to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but at that time he could not meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
It is being told that being a border state, Punjab is also considered very sensitive from the point of view of security, in such a situation, the issue of security can also be discussed between the new CM of the state, Bhagwant Mann and Amit Shah.
Earlier, when Chief Minister Mann met PM Modi, referring to the poor financial condition of Punjab, he had demanded an economic package of 50 thousand crores for the state for at least two years. Talking to the media after meeting PM Modi, CM Bhagwant Mann had said that PM Modi had a good meeting, he congratulated me for becoming CM for the first time and winning.
