QJ SRK1000RR: Chinese motorcycles are getting better with time. They are not only getting technologically advanced but also more powerful. This is partly due to Chinese producers forming strategic alliances with European firms. We’ve seen this with CFMoto, since the Chinese brand’s recently released 800cc middleweights openly incorporate KTM technology.
QJ SRK1000RR to be launched next year?
QJ Motor is said to be developing the SRK1000RR, a litre-class sport bike. The motorcycle is expected to go into production next year, followed by a limited market launch. QJ Motor is expected to leverage its alliance with MV Agusta to develop its litre-class product. A detailed inspection of the image indicates that the superbike’s hybrid chassis and single-sided swingarm are very similar to the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS.
Powertrain details
The Brutale 1000’s 205 bhp, 998 cc four-cylinder engine is not being given away by MV Agusta. Instead, the SRK1000RR uses a 921cc version of the MV’s four, producing somewhat less power – the type approval indicates 125 bhp at 10,500 rpm and 70lb. ft of torque at 8100 rpm.
Expected Features
The styling of the alleged SRK1000RR definitely borrows from MV Agusta’s machines, particularly the Brutale 1000. A look at the rear single-sided swingarm reveals that this bike is equipped with outstanding technological elements from the Italian manufacturer. I
