Quest 3: Ahead of Apple’s WWDC 2023 on June 5, Meta has released its Meta Quest 3 mixed reality headset. This week, Apple will also unveil its first Mixed Reality headset. The new Meta Quest 3 headset will directly compete with Apple’s future headgear.

The Meta Quest 3 is a two-in-one device that is 40% thinner than the Meta Quest 2 and combines both augmentation and virtual reality components. Quest 3, a chipset from Qualcomm, boasts quadruple graphics performance.
Even though Meta is the industry leader in virtual reality, sales for the business have not increased. The most recent quarter saw a 50% decrease in headset revenue for Meta. Sales across the board at Meta are down 54.4% from last year.
A newer Qualcomm chipset will be installed in Meta’s new headgear, improving graphics performance. More details regarding the headset will be revealed at the company’s annual AR / VR conference, which will be held on September 27. Mark Zuckerberg has stated that it will be released in the autumn.

In all nations, Quest 3 will shortly go on sale. The cost of the model with 128 GB of storage is $499, or around Rs 41,079. The Meta Quest 3 will directly compete with the Apple AR/VR headset. The Cost of the Apple headset is anticipated to be above 2 lacs which makes it less accessible to the general public.
