Real life hero Sonu Sood offers 20,000 accommodation for migrant workers

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on Monday announced that he will be offering accommodation to 20,000 migrant workers in Noida.

Sood said that the workers have also been provided jobs in garment factories in the nearby regions.

The actor who has been hogging the limelight for arranging transport for thousands of stranded migrants desperate to return to their native place, shared the news on Instagram.

“I am delighted to now offer accommodation for 20,000 migrated workers who have also been provided jobs in garment units in #Noida through #PravasiRojgar.

Sood who is currently helping scores of countrymen coming from the underprivileged section, began his journey in philanthropy by arranging safe road travel for migrant travels stuck in various parts of the country to reach their native places.

Earlier, he  launched a toll free number — 18001213711 — through which one can reach out to Sood’s team for help.

Sonu started helping migrants by providing them with food. He has fed over 45,000 migrants on the streets. He has been working round the clock to get necessary permission from some state governments so that he can send as many migrants from Mumbai as possible.

Recently, on his 47th birthday, the actor took to Twitter to announce another big initiative for migrant workers by launching an app to offer support to workers in finding right job opportunities in various sectors across the country.
