Renault: Deliveries of BS6 Phase II-compliant Kiger and Triber AMT models to customers have begun by Renault India. In addition, these models include improved safety elements that are intended to lower the possibility of accidents and increase the general security of passengers.
Renault Triber and Kiger details
The Renault Triber is a 7-seater SUV with a huge boot capacity of 625 litres and a 4-star safety rating for protecting adult occupants from external hazards from Global NCAP. A 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine is included. 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque are produced by this engine.
The 1.0-litre turbo petrol is available in the tiny Renault Kiger SUV. This engine is compatible with the 5-speed Easy-R AMT or the XTronic CVT gearbox. It has a litre-to-kilometre efficiency of 20.62. In the Global NCAP Car Assessment Programme, it received a 4-Star Adult Safety Rating. The SUV is equipped with four airbags: front and side airbags with load limits, pre-tensioners, and seatbelts.
Updated features
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) for better control on wrapping roads, Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS), designed to detect irregularities in wheel speed, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which provides real-time alerts for low air or punctured tyres are among the safety features offered on the Renault Kiger and Triber AMT models.
