Renault might introduce Kwid electric in India, all we know so far

Renault: Electric vehicles are being sold in every economic segment in India, as people are starting to take an interest in them. Budget vehicles still account for the majority of sales in the Indian market, thus Tata Motors debuted the Tiago EV in the sub-Rs 10 lakh price category while still taking into account consumer needs. Other manufacturers, like MG and Citroen, may soon introduce reasonably priced electric vehicles. In the midst of all of this, rumours are circulating that Renault India may soon release the entry-level hatchback Kwid in an all-electric form, which would be fantastic in terms of appearance, features, and battery life.

The affordable electric vehicle Renault Kwid Electric, also known as Dacia Spring EV in Europe, may be introduced in India in the upcoming years. The vehicle is marketed as the Renault City K-ZE in China.

Renault Kwid EV Design

Regarding appearance and characteristics, the Renault Kwid Electric will be quite similar to its ICE counterpart; however, some technical and visual alterations may be made to meet the needs of an electric vehicle.

Price and Range

With a powerful battery, the next Renault Kwid Electric will have a range of 230 to 305 kilometres on a single charge. Renault Kwid EV will have a top speed of 125 kmph. With a DC fast charger, this electric vehicle can receive an 80 per cent charge in just 30 minutes.

In the Indian market, the cost can be less than Rs 10 lakh.
