Rolls Royce: Luxury Car manufacturer, Rolls Royce has announced that it will become an all-electric car brand from the early 2030s. The news has been confirmed by BMW Chairman Oliver Zipse during an interaction with the members of European Press.

Rolls Royce Spectre Electric Vehicle

The company has announced that the Rolls Royce Spectre Electric vehicle will be the pioneer in its Electric portfolio as the company has already scheduled the deliveries of the same somewhere in the end of this year. Spectre Electric vehicle is the company’s first ever EV which provides a driving range of 520 Km with the ultraluxury signature comfort of the brand. The Spectre’s powerhouse generates the maximum power of 577 hp and a peak torque of 900 Nm. The vehicle is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds.

The Spectre Electric vehicle will be introduced as the brand’s first all-electric vehicle. Chairman Zipse believes that the ultra-luxury car buyer is expecting battery driven vehicle in the segment from the brand.

Even though, the demand of electric vehicles is currently on a halt in many of the major markets. But it can be a advantage for Rolls Royce as it competes in a highly exclusive and limited ultra luxury segment. According to the experts, the brand’s decision to make an entry into the electric vehicle segment is a good step.

As far as the future prospects are concerned, Rolls Royce will definitely fetch an advantage because of the limited competition in its segment. While auto brands across the world in all the segments are in efforts to increase their EV portfolio.
