New Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

The test mule was equipped with a distinctly retro bubble-style fairing, just like the Continental GT-R650 race bike. However, this is a larger unit with jagged edges and a two-tone paint job that extends almost to the crankcase. Now, it could seem that this fairing will only be offered for the Continental GT 650 as an optional extra. There is a possibility that this is a completely different model, though.

When compared to the sleek cylindrical unit on the present model, the engine crankcase in the spy photo is noticeably different. Additionally, it appears that the exhaust system has also undergone minor revision. The spoke wheel rims are finished in white, which is something that has not previously been seen on the motorcycle. Despite this, the main hardware configuration, which includes 18-inch wheels, telescopic forks, twin springs, and a single disc at either end, is unquestionably the same.

There is no information yet on when this faired Continental GT 650 will go on sale. Nevertheless, we anticipate Royal Enfield to introduce it this year, possibly in the second part of 2023.
