Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: The well-known motorcycle brand Royal Enfield is getting ready to reveal the highly awaited Himalayan 450 in India tomorrow, November 24, at the Motoverse 2023 event. In this article, we will share all we know about this amazing upcoming off-roader.

Powertrain
The 451.65cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine of the newly introduced Himalayan is the main attraction. This engine is referred to as the “Sherpa 450.” This is the brand’s first four-valve head, double overhead cam liquid-cooled engine. In terms of performance numbers, the motor generates 40 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm when mated to a six-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch.
Variants and colour options
Base, Pass, and Summit are the three versions of the Royal Enfield Himalayan that are offered. Regarding the colour scheme, the mid-spec Pass model features Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue colour options, while the entry-level Base model has Kaza Brown paint options. The paint jobs on the top-spec Summit model, however, are Hanle Black and Kamet White.
Features onboard
The Himalayan 450 is lighter than its predecessor, weighing in about 196 kg. A large circular TFT screen with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, switchable ABS, full-LED lighting, and ride-by-wire technology are some of the standout features.
Expected price in India
An approximate price of Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom) is anticipated for the base variant of Himalayan.
