Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: After showcasing the all-new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 in Motoverse 2023, the manufacturer has made its global debut today. Royal Enfield Shotgun derives some specs from its sibling Super Meteor 650. But, the new offering comes with some new features and design changes. The brand is expected to launch the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 in the early 2024. The recently unveiled Shotgun 650 sits between the Continental GT and the popular Super Meteor. Royal Enfield Shotgun Features
As far as the features are concerned, The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 features LED headlights, Tripper Navigation, Royal Enfield Wingman Support, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the brand will also offer 31 genuine accessories that will be sold separately according to the customer’s choice.
The bike rides on 18-inch inch wheels in the front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels at the rear side. The company will also offer diamond-cut alloy wheels as a genuine accessory. Suspension duties of the motorcycle will be handled by a 43mm separate function big piston Showa forks at the front side and Twin tube 5 step shock absorbers at the backside. For safety purposes, the bike features 320mm disc brakes in the front and 300mm disc at the backside. Apart from these specs, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 also boasts dual-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Power
Royal Enfield Shotgun comes equipped with a 648cc parallel twin, air oil-cooled engine which is capable of generating 47 bhp of power and a peak torque of 52 Nm. The powerhouse comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. For those who are unaware, this engine is the same engine that comes in other 650cc bikes of Royal Enfiled. However, it is highly expected that Royal Enfiled will retune the powerhouse for better power supply and smooth performance.
