The war between Russia and Ukraine is increasingly fiercely. Thousands of Indian students are stranded in Ukraine. People are scared to live there. In such a situation, Naveen, a resident of Karnataka, has died on Tuesday. The work of evacuating Indian students from there is going on continuously but still it is taking time. Two days ago, a video of Naveen, who died, also surfaced in which he was talking to his family members.
Russian firing is being said to be the reason for the student’s death. This Indian student has died after coming in the range of shelling in Kharkiv. The name of the student who lost his life in Kharkiv is Naveen Shekharappa. 21-year-old Naveen was a resident of Chalgeri in Karnataka. In the midst of this frightening atmosphere, he had also talked to the family members 2 days ago.
Naveen had talked to his family members on video call only 2 days ago and expressed hope that he would return to his country soon.
Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine on Tuesday suggested all Indians, including students, to leave Kyiv immediately today by train or any other means available. “All Indians including students are advised to leave Kyiv immediately via train or any other available mode available today,” the embassy tweeted.
India is evacuating its citizens stranded there through Ukraine’s border posts with Romania, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia as the war-torn country’s airspace was closed after Russia’s attack on Ukraine. On Monday, the Indian embassy in Ukraine advised students to reach the railway station in the capital Kyiv so that they can travel further to the western parts of the war-torn country.
