Sandip Ssingh who claims to be Sushant Singh Rajput‘s friend has served a defamation notice to Republic TV and its editor-in-chief, Arnab Goswami for allegedly running defamatory news against him. He has also claimed Rs 200 crores as compensation.
The legal notice filed by Ssingh’s lawyer Rajesh Kumar read, “That now the truth has prevailed and you have been completely exposed as a key conspirator of airing malicious contents as part of propagandas to malign my client with the sole motive to extort money and grab TRP.”
Announcing the move on his official social media account, Sandip claimed that members of the news channel sent him several messages “with criminal intent and intent to extort.”

The notice has asked for the channel to remove all malicious footage, articles and reports about Sandip Ssingh and to tender an apology, which should include facts about the filmmaker’s integrity.
According to Bar and Bench report, if he notice is not adhered to within 15 days, Ssingh has informed that proceedings would be filed in court seeking damages for defamation.
