2 new electric scooters from Simple Energy

The Bengaluru-based company has now announced that the two new electric scooters would have reasonable prices and will be positioned below the current Simple One, which has the claimed best riding range in the class of 212 km on a single charge. The company has stated once more that the prices of the two new zero-emission scooters will be reasonable for the customers.

In order to introduce the production-ready variations “faster than before,” it has been stated that the development tasks are in full gear. It is believed that the new scooters will alleviate their range concern while making Simple Energy’s product line more accessible. The Simple One’s and the forthcoming variations’ battery packs adhere to the strictest safety regulations.

The Simple One advertises a 212 km (IDC) range on a single charge. A 236 km range on a single charge was previously stated by the firm. The longest-range electric scooter in the nation is still this particular model.

With a 750-watt home charger, the e-scooter can be charged from zero to eighty per cent in five hours and fifty-four minutes. According to the manufacturer, this charger will be offered starting in September.

In comparison to the 4.8 kWh battery pack that was previously disclosed, the Simple One electric scooter now has a 5 kWh battery pack. The battery makes a 7-layer, IP-67-compliant protective system and an internally built Battery Management System (BMS) promise. In order to comply with the AIS 156 revisions released last year, the battery size has to be increased, according to the business.

The Simple One comes with features including telematics, ride statistics, Bluetooth connectivity, park assist, and more. It also includes a digital instrument console with an open-source Android OS. Additionally, it offers over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

In India, the cost of Simple One ranges from Rs. 1,45,000 to Rs. 1,50,000. Simple One has two variations.
