Simple One: In the domestic market, Simple Energy has begun shipping its Simple One electric scooter. The business, which started in Bengaluru, intends to deliver its electric scooters in phases. This electric scooter has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.45 lakh. However, the Simple One electric scooter has garnered more than 100,000 reservations, according to figures provided by the business.

The Simple One advertises a 212 km (IDC) range on a single charge. A 236 km range on a single charge was previously stated by the firm. The longest-range electric scooter in the nation is still this particular model.
With a 750-watt home charger, the e-scooter can be charged from zero to eighty per cent in five hours and fifty-four minutes. According to the manufacturer, this charger will be offered starting in September.
In comparison to the 4.8 kWh battery pack that was previously disclosed, the Simple One electric scooter now has a 5 kWh battery pack. The battery makes a 7-layer, IP-67-compliant protective system and an internally built Battery Management System (BMS) promise. In order to comply with the AIS 156 revisions released last year, the battery size has to be increased, according to the business.

The Simple One comes with features including telematics, ride statistics, Bluetooth connectivity, park assist, and more. It also includes a digital instrument console with an open-source Android OS. Additionally, it offers over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
