Smart Helmet: Four youths from Bihar have together made a smart helmet. The speciality of the helmet is that unless the rider wears it, the bike will not start. This helmet will save people from accidents. Its price ranges from Rs 1400 to Rs 1800. Read on to learn more about this helmet.
Smart Helmet: How does it work?
Along with the helmet, a device is installed on the bike, because of which you cannot start your bike without wearing a helmet. It has two modes: Automatic Mode and Normal Mode. In normal mode, you can use it like a normal helmet, and in automatic mode, you have to wear the helmet to start the bike. The helmet also has to be charged, Once charged, the battery in the helmet lasts for almost 15 days.
The reason behind the idea
This team of four youths includes RK Kesari, Yash Kesari, Priya Singh, and Roshni Bharti. The idea of making this helmet came to RK Kesari when his friend who was coming to pick him up died in a road accident as he was not wearing a helmet. This incident disturbed RK a lot. That very day he had decided that one day he would make such a helmet, without which the bike would not start.
