Global cues are seen mixed for the domestic stock market. In today’s business, mixed trends are being seen in major Asian markets. Whereas on Wednesday, the US markets also rose for the third consecutive day.
On Wednesday, Dow Jones gained 69.86 points and closed at the level of 31,037.68. The S&P 500 index gained 0.36 percent and closed at 3,845.08.
While the Nasdaq saw a 0.35 percent increase and closed at the level of 11,361.85. The US Federal Reserve reiterated in its minute that the Central Bank is doing everything possible to control inflation.
At the same time, there have been indications that after the meeting of 26 and 27 July, interest rates may increase by 50 or 75 basis points.
There has been a big fall in the prices of Brent crude. Crude is trading below $100 at $99 a barrel. While US crude is at $97 per barrel. The 10-year bond yield in the US stands at 2.915 per cent.
