Stock Market Update: Buying is being seen in the domestic stock market today. Both Sensex and Nifty indices have strengthened in business.
Sensex has gained more than 250 points, while Nifty has also crossed 18050. There is an all-round boom in today’s business. There is buying in bank, financial and auto stocks. All three indices on Nifty have strengthened around 1 percent.
Other indices including metal, pharma are also in green mark. At present, the Sensex is up by 274 points and it is trading at 60621 level. While Nifty is up 74 points at the level of 18078.
Buying in heavyweight stocks. 25 shares of Sensex 30 are trading in green mark. Top gainers include KOTAKBANK, MARUTI, M&M, NTPC, ICICIBANK, SBIN, HINDUNILVR, WIPRO.
The shares of South India based 100 year old bank Tamilnad Mercantile Bank have a weak listing in the stock market today. The upper price band under the iPO was Rs 525, while on BSE it is listed at Rs 510. That is, the listing happened with a discount of Rs 15.
After touching the price of $ 139 this year, there has been a significant decline in crude at present. But on the other hand the prices of petrol and diesel in the country remain stable. The oil companies have not made any change in the prices even on 15 September. The price of 1 liter of petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.72, while the price of 1 liter of diesel is Rs 89.62.
