Stock Market Update: Amid mixed trends in the global markets, trading started flat in the domestic market today on August 24. A day before the weekly F&O expiry, today the Sensex and Nifty 50 are almost flat that is showing slight fluctuations. There is a great buying trend in realty stocks today.
During the business today, the focus will be on Adani Group companies, stocks like Devyani Enterprises and NDTV.
The Sensex is currently at 59,019.57, down by 11.73 points and the Nifty is up by 4.05 points at 17,581.55.
The market is showing a decline in the pre-market today. The Sensex is down 153.13 points at 58,878.17.
Veteran media company NDTV will soon be controlled by the Adani Group of the country’s richest man Gautam Adani. Adani Group has indirectly acquired 29.18 per cent shares of NDTV through one of its associate companies. Along with this, it has also issued an open offer to buy 26% more shares of NDTV. This information has been given in the statement issued by the Adani Group itself.
