Stock Market Updates: The effect of strong signals from the global market was visible on the domestic stock market on the last trading day of the week. At the beginning of trading, the Sensex opened at the level of 54,671.50 and the Nifty opened at the level of 16,296.60. At the beginning of trading, 24 out of 30 Sensex stocks saw a rise. In today’s trading session, at around 9.50 am, there was a buying and selling round in 336 shares in 1409 shares. Apart from this, there was no change in 88 shares.
Nifty’s top gainers and top losers
Tech Mahindra, HCL tech, Infosys, Wipro and IndusInd Bank were among the top gainers of Nifty during the trading session on Friday. On the other hand, ONGC, Asian Paints, NTPC, Powergrid and Apollo Hospital were the top losers. On the other hand, in the global market, Dow Jones closed with a gain of more than 500 points for the fifth consecutive day.
Earlier on Thursday, the three-day decline in the market stopped and the 30-point Sensex climbed 503.27 points to 54,252.53 and the Nifty gained 144.35 points to close at 16,170.15.
