Suzuki 2W Sales: From Gixxer to Burgman, here are the best-selling scooters in India

Suzuki 2W Sales: The biggest monthly export volume for Suzuki Two Wheelers so far was 23,007 units in December 2022.

One of the scooter brands with the highest sales in India is Suzuki. The Access 125 is the model. Burgman Street, Burgman Street EX, and Avenis scooters are all included in the company’s inventory. Their motorbike lineup consists of the Suzuki 2W, Gixxer 250, V-Strom 250, etc.

The Street EX 125cc scooter, their most recent release, starts with Rs 1.12 lakh, ex-sh. The scooter has a Silent Starter Technology, Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) system, and Eco Performance Alpha (SEP) engine. It costs Rs 22,400 more than the basic Burgman Street.

Suzuki 2W Sales in December 2022

In December 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India experienced growth in both domestic and international markets. Sales for the previous month were 63,912 units, a 24.96% increase from the 51,148 units sold in December 2021. This was a rise in the volume of 12,764 units. However, when compared to the 79,359 units sold in November 2022, there was a 19.46 per cent MoM fall in sales.

Out of the 63,912 units that were sold overall in December 2022, 40,905 were sold domestically and 23,007 were exported. Compared to the 32,549 units sold in December 2021, domestic sales increased by 25.67%. When compared to the 18,599 units supplied in December 2021, exports increased YoY by 23.70 percent. The company’s exports were also at their best level for a single month.

However, MoM sales decreased by 19.46 percent, while domestic sales from 63,156 units sold in November 2022 decreased by 35.23 percent. Exports increased 41.99% from the 16,203 units sold in November 2022. In November, there were 79,359 units sold overall (domestic + exports).

Sales of the Suzuki 2W in 2020

Sales of Suzuki two-wheelers increased during the 2022 calendar year. Except for February, March, and April, every month experienced an increase in sales. Due to this, Q1 2022 sales decreased by 3.84 percent, from 1,76,756 units sold in Q1 2021 to 1,69,960 units sold in Q1 2022. Sales have now improved, with Q2 2022 sales increasing by 43.56 percent to 1,67,773 units from 1,16,866 units sold in Q2 2021. This represented a volume increase of 50,907 units.

Sales for the first quarter of 2022 increased by 15.02 per cent to 3,37,733 units from 2,93,622 units during the same period in the previous year. When compared to Q2 2021, Q3 2022 sales climbed by 10.98% to 1,97,549 units from 1,78,006 units, while Q4 2022 sales increased by 19.79% to 1,73,695 units from 1,44,996 units. As a result, H2 2022 sales increased by 14.94% to 3,71,244 units from 2,23,002 units sold in H2 2021. The debut of an electric scooter is one of many new products Suzuki has planned for the upcoming months.
