Suzuki and Honda Electric Scooters

Suzuki

According to an official announcement, the electric two-wheeler from Suzuki will be introduced in India in the fiscal year 2025. According to Suzuki, the electric scooters would be “small to a midsize motorcycle that will be used for daily transportation.” Due to Suzuki’s ongoing testing of the Burgman electric on Indian roads, we think the new model might be an electric scooter.

Honda

The current Honda Activa scooter will be released in an electric variant that has an electric drivetrain in place of the engine. The new Activa electric will have a fixed battery configuration and a top speed of 50 kmph, according to the manufacturer. After the Activa EV, Honda will release its second electric scooter, which will run on an entirely new platform.

The second electric vehicle from the company will have a performance-oriented battery setup and be equipped with it. The e-motor and battery will be produced locally by the company in India. This will support Honda’s pricing strategy. Additionally, all 6,000 of the company’s consumer touch points around the nation will be equipped with battery-swapping stations.
