Suzuki Hayabusa snow bike
Using a 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa from the first generation, the Grind Hard Plumbing Company (GHPC) from the USA has done just that! The 129-inch rubber track on this Timbersled Riot 3 snow bike is equipped with ferocious three-inch paddles for digging through the snow. To help the heavy bike go over the heavy snow, the front wheel was changed with a very wide ski. The track system required the removal of the whole rear swingarm component. The bike’s sprockets also required some adjustments.
With 173PS available, the final product is a snow demon, as one might anticipate. With acceleration similar to a finely tuned snowmobile, the Hayabusa flies off. It took around a week to complete, according to the engineers, after which they tested it out on many occasions and found that it handled surprisingly well.
The bike will be put through a thorough high-speed test in the mountains in the future, and we can’t wait to see how this speed demon handles on ice. However, certain improvements are needed first. To stop more failures, the front end will receive strengthening and an additional shock absorber in particular.
