Taiwan fires warning shots at Chinese drones

Taiwan’s military opened fire on a Chinese drone on Tuesday. A Taiwanese military spokesman says these were warning shots. With this, the level of tension between China and Taiwan is set to increase further. This is the first time that Taiwan’s military has taken such an aggressive step. According to a military spokesman, the drone was flying close to the Chinese border on an island under Taiwanese control. It is said that after the firing of the Taiwanese army, the drone turned back towards China.

Since the visit of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, the situation has remained tense. At the time of Pelosi’s visit, Chinese planes began to fly over the skies of Taiwan. At the same time, China has also been threatening America with the consequences. After the visit of Nancy Pelosi, a team of US lawmakers also visited Taiwan. After this, the anger of China flared up even more. At the same time, the borders with both the countries have been barricaded.

On the other hand, Taiwan is getting US support amidst threats from China. Not only this, America is also working on a strategy to keep China isolated in Asia. The statement of a senior officer of the US Navy makes a lot of sense in this. This official had said that India’s role could be very important to divert the attention of China. At the same time, China is also keeping an eye on every move of America as well as India and other Asian countries. China is very cautious about the visit of Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Japan.
