Tata Harrier Facelift to be launched by mid next year, all we know about this mean machine

Tata Harrier Facelift: At the next 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida, Tata Motors plans to display the Punch EV in a nearly finished state. The electric micro SUV, which will be based on the new Sigma platform, is anticipated to go on sale by the end of 2023. As it will be placed below the Nexon EV, it may soon become the cheapest electric SUV in the nation. The domestic manufacturer hopes to sell many Punch EVs in order to increase its market share in the category of passenger electric vehicles, where it already holds more than 90% market dominance. The upgraded Harrier will also be a standout debut from Tata, and an updated Safari model also seems to be in the works.

All we know about the Tata Harrier Facelift

The facelift will bring some cosmetic modifications to the Harrier midsize SUV, which has been on sale since early 2019. Other aesthetic improvements are also probable, but the front fascia will get a new front grille, updated tail lamps, new wheels, and a slimmer headlamp assembly. ADAS and other cutting-edge technology will be added inside the vehicle.

Auto emergency braking, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, etc. are anticipated to be made possible by the driver-assistive and safety technology. A larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as a 360-degree camera system may potentially be added to the Harrier facelift.

Price and availability

By the middle of 2023, it might be available, and the expected price range is between Rs. 16.5-24.5 lakh. Like the upgraded Harrier, the Safari will also get new features like an around-view camera and ADAS. On the outside, similar changes are also possible with a few cosmetic differences to set the two apart. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that powers both SUVs will continue to produce 350 Nm of peak torque and 170 PS of maximum power. The 2023 Tata Safari could enter production later in 2023 and be priced between Rs. 18.5 lakh and Rs. 26.5 lahks when it debuts on the market.
