Tata Harrier: Tata Motors introduced the new Harrier SUV in India at the beginning of 2019, and the business has already reached a significant sales milestone. In just four and a half years, the business has sold 1 lakh units of the Tata Harrier. Just below the Safari, it is the company’s second-most expensive SUV. The Tata Harrier starts at Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom, and rises all the way to Rs 24.07 lakh for the top variant. It is packed with impressive features. The business will soon introduce the Harrier model for 2023.
Tata Harrier Sales
In just four years since it first went on sale, the Harrier achieved such a significant amount of sales. This vehicle was constructed by Tata Motors using its Omega-Arc platform. The first Tata automobile type to be constructed on this platform is the Harrier. Its T8 chassis is used to construct some Jaguar Land Rover SUVs. This platform, for instance, is used to construct automotive models like the Range Rover SUV. This explains why the Tata Harrier SUV resembles Land Rover SUVs in terms of attractiveness.
The reason behind the sales
Tata periodically introduces new models and limited editions of the SUV in India to keep it fresh. One of the primary factors in the car’s incredible sales is Tata’s marketing approach. The Harrier Dark Edition, Camo Edition, and Red Dark Edition are just a few of the unique editions that Tata is now selling. In addition, Tata offers 19 other choices in this 5-seat small SUV.
Features and specs
This car sports a 1956 cc, inline-4, 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged engine from the manufacturer. The maximum output of this vehicle is 125 kW at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm between 1750 and 2500 rpm. In this car, there are two types of transmissions: a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual. The car has a petrol tank capacity of 50 litres and can seat 5 people, according to the manufacturer.
The Advanced Driver Assistance System, or ADAS, is the most significant of all the fresh features that Tata has added to the new Harrier.
