Tata motors has launched the Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG in India. It is available in four trim levels and can be had only with a five-speed manual. Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor CNG comes in a total of five color option.
Tata Tiago CNG car has been launched in four variants. These include XE, XM,XT and XZ+. At the same time, Tata Tigor’s CNG car comes in two variants likr XZ and XZ+.
The Tata Tiago iCNG and the Tigor iCNG cars are powred by a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated three-cylinder motor that makes 73PS and 95 Nm and pairs with a five-speed manual.
The iCNG variants are about 100kg more than their petrol counterparts but continue with good clearance numbers through a retuned suspension setup. This figure is 168mm for the Tiago iCNG and 165mm for Tiago CNG mode and auto-switch to petrol of CNG runs out.

The starting price of Tata Tiagor CNG in Delhi ex-showroom is Rs 6,09,900 which goes up to Rs 7,64,900. At the same time, starting price of Tata Tigor CNG is Rs 7,69,900, which goes up to Rs 8,41,900.
In terms of safety, the Tata Tiago and Tigor iCNG gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD and Cornering safety control along with CNG kit safety with leak proof technology among other technology. It also get close fuel lid alert that doesn’t let the cars start if the fuel lid is open and a message flashing on the instrument cluster.
With the Tiago CNG and Tigor iCNG, Tata Motors becomes the third mass-market carmaker to offer factory-fitted CNG kits on its passenger vehicles, the others being Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. These two models are the first of more CNG-powered vehicles expected from Tata Motors.
