Tata Punch EV: Tata Motors is the country’s largest producer of electric four-wheelers. Tata Motors has also recently launched a new brand for its electric vehicles, dubbed ‘TATA.ev’. Nexon EV, Tigor EV, and Tiago EV are among the company’s electrified vehicles, Punch EV will be added shortly. Tata Punch EV details
The Punch EV will be built on the ALFA platform with Tata’s Gen-2 EV architecture, which is essentially an electrified version of the company’s ICE (petrol-diesel) vehicles. The SUV will use a magneto synchronous motor with front-wheel drive and a liquid-cooled battery. This will be similar to Tigor, Tiago, and Nexon EV. Tata Motors can provide the Punch EV with two distinct battery cells and charging options.
Expected Features
The Punch EV‘s cabin will include a number of improvements, including the newly introduced two-spoke steering wheel, which debuted in the Nexon facelift. In addition, Tata Motors may outfit the Punch EV with the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has already impressed Nexon owners.
If a charging plug is added to the front of the Tata Punch EV, it will be the first car from Tata Motors to have this feature. Aside from that, four-wheel disc brakes, a new alloy wheel design, as well as new aesthetics and appearance, are being studied.
Expected Price in India
We anticipate that the Punch EV will be priced in the same range as the Tigor EV, which costs between Rs 12.49 and Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
