Tata: Tata Motors is the undisputed market leader in India’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle market. more than 75% of all sold EVs are battery-powered vehicles from Tata Motors. In India, high-end electric vehicles are selling well as well. The sales of electric vehicles from Mahindra and Citroen are also rising with time.
Tata EV market share
Tata Motors sold 4392 electric vehicles in April of last year. Following this, Mahindra & Mahindra sold 505 electric cars. The third-place finisher, MG Motor India, sold 335 electric vehicles. Citroen, which sold 229 EVs, came in at number four. The fifth-placed brand, BYD, sold 154 electric vehicles.
Best EVs available in India
The Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max from Tata Motors, the Tiago EV and Tigor EV, Mahindra’s XUV400, MG Motor’s ZS EV, Hyundai’s Ioniq 5, BYD’s EV6 and Auto 3, and other mid-range and premium electric vehicles are available on the Indian market.
