Tata Sierra production version patent leaked
At Auto Expo 2023, the Sierra EV concept was on display. It was obviously inspired by the first Tata Sierra.
A wide-stretched, end-to-end daytime running LED strip, which was recently introduced on the Nexon EV and upgraded Harrier and Safari models, is the first feature to catch attention in the leaked patent photograph of the Tata Sierra EV. In addition to the muscular bonnet, closed front grille, and durable skid plate, the Sierra EV will also have headlights housed in trapezoid housings on the corners of the front bumper.
A better view of the side profile of the Tata Sierra EV is provided by the leaked patent photograph, which also shows that the car has flush door handles. Here, the body cladding appears to be extended to the bottom of the door panels and covers the wheel arches. In order to give the window frame a curved appearance and trace back to the huge window panels of the original Sierra, the B-pillar has been changed
The leaked patent image of the Tata Sierra EV also shows off other design elements, such as roof rails, alloy wheels with a Y pattern, and an almost vertical D-pillar—all of which were shown off in the concept form during the Auto Expo 2023. The Sierra SUV’s interior design and back profile, which are also anticipated to be simplified for the production model, are not shown in the patent photo.
Additional details
It is currently unknown what the Tata Sierra‘s technical specifications are. The SUV may be available with more traditional powertrain choices in addition to an electric one.
