Battery and Motor
The Tiago EV offers two different battery pack options: 61PS/105Nm 19.2kWh and 75PS/114Nm 24kWh. The smaller 19.2 kWh battery pack can be used for a claimed 250 km of range with the other has a claimed range of 315 km. In three hours and 36 minutes, a 7.2kW charger will fully charge its batteries. Just 3.3kW of charging power is available for the smaller battery pack.
In the MG Comet electric vehicle, which has a 17.3 kWh battery pack and a 200–250 km range on a single charge, can be seen. Given that it is compact and hence a viable option for crowded areas, this small electric car will be marketed to urban dwellers.
Features
It has features including a four-speaker Harman sound system with four tweeters, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and auto air conditioning. Moreover, it features cruise control, steering-mounted controls, and wipers that detect rain. It has a rear-view camera, an ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
A teaser picture of the dashboard and steering wheel was provided by MG. it will have a two-spoke steering wheel with control buttons. In addition, it will have a digital display that will be both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. Additionally, it will have features like ambient lighting, connected technology, and LED headlights and taillights.
Price in India
Tiago EV pricing begins at Rs. 8.69 Lakh. There are 5 different colour options for the Tiago EV’s 7 variants.
The MG Comet might be offered for as much as Rs 10 lakh. Once it is released, the vehicle will face off against the Citroen EC3, Tata Tiago EV, and Tata Tigor EV.
