Tata: The Indian market for electric cars is dominated by Tata Motors. It has developed a bold strategy to further solidify this domination. Ten electric vehicles will be introduced during the next five years, according to the business. Tata to launch electric variants of THESE SUVs
Tata Harrier EV
Along with the Curvv and Avinya EV concepts, the Tata Harrier EV concept debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo. Next year might see the release of the Harrier EV in production form. It’ll be built on the Tata Gen 2 (also known as Sigma) platform. The vehicle may receive a new grille that has been blanked off, split headlights with new LED light bars, updated bumper, EV emblems on the fenders, flush door handles, new LED light bars on the tailboard and new taillamps.
Tata Safari EV
The Harrier EV will be comparable to the Tata Safari‘s electric variant. Both the exterior and the interior will undergo significant EV-specific upgrades. Vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging capabilities may be available for the Safari EV. Its powertrain system, which has a range of about 400–500 km, contains a battery that is about 60 kWh in size.
Tata Punch EV
According to rumours, Punch‘s electric version will start to be sold this holiday season. It is now undergoing testing. Both interior and outside have undergone certain adjustments that were inspired by the curvv concept. This small electric vehicle has a two-spoke steering wheel. A 360-degree camera, rotary drive selector, and automated parking brake could also be included. On a single full charge, the Punch EV might have a range of about 300 kilometres.
