Tesla has launched a four-wheel all-electric ATV for kids. The new product from the world’s biggest electric vehicle manufacturer is named Cyberquad and is up for sale now on Tesla’s official website.
Tesla Cyberquad for kids, which has just been listed on Tesla’s website, is priced at $1,900 (Rs 1.42 lakh), or roughly the price of an Ather 450X electric scooter.
As mentioned on the company website, the new Cyberquad is designed for kids 8 years old and above. For drawing its power, the Cyberquad uses a lithium-ion battery which promises up to 15 miles (about 24 km) of range and a top speed of 10 mph (about 16 kmph). The top speed is configurable, which means it can be limited by the parents if need be.
By default, there are three-speed settings on the Cyberquad – 5mph (or 8 km), 10mph, and 5mph in reverse. As per Tesla, the ATV for kids will take up to 5 hours for a full charge. The range that it delivers after a charge will depend on a user’s weight and riding style.

The kiddie Cyberquad is not a new sight – Tesla chief Elon Musk had given the world its first glimpse of the Cyberquad for adults a couple of years ago at the world premiere of the much-vaunted Tesla Cybertruck, and the model for kids is a lot like it, except it’s much smaller.
The Cyberquad for Kids is only available in the U.S. for now, and Tesla doesn’t guarantee delivery in time for Christmas though this would be an impressive thing to unwrap under the tree (better than a whistle).
Meanwhile, the actual Cybertruck that inspired it is delayed to the end of 2022, and it’s still unclear if the full-size Cyberquad will arrive then, though Elon Musk has suggested it’ll ship alongside the all-electric pickup in the past.
