Tesla: The world’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicles, Tesla, has finally expanded into India after a lengthy wait. June saw a tour of the United States by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this time, he met Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. Elon Musk then gave PM Modi his most sincere appreciation. This signals that the Tesla corporation will soon enter India.
Tesla leases space in Pune
Now that its business is underway in India, Tesla has made the first move. Tesla India Motor and Energy Pvt Ltd has leased space in the Panchsheel Business Park in Pune. All of the Tesla Company’s officials will be working out of this office for the time being as they launch the company gradually. According to rumours, this office will host all different kinds of meetings.
Tesla will rent the space for 60 months from CRE Matrix, a real estate analytics company, for Rs. 11.65 lakh per month plus Rs. 34.95 lakh as a security deposit. Panchsheel Business Park has a total area of 10,77,181 square feet and is currently under construction.
Company to offer its first car for around Rs 20 Lakh
Elon Musk expressed his excitement for India’s future and his belief that it is one of the greatest countries in the world with the most potential after meeting Prime Minister Modi in America. Musk has already expressed his excitement about introducing his electric vehicle, the Tesla, to the Indian market. The first Tesla vehicle may cost roughly Rs 20 lakh on the Indian market.
