The BJP has launched a campaign in Bihar seeking “justice for actor Sushant Singh Rajput”

The BJP has launched a campaign in Bihar seeking “justice for actor Sushant Singh Rajput”, with the party planning to paste posters across the state declaring, “Na bhoole hain, na bhulne denge (we have neither forgotten nor will we let anyone forget)”, along with a photograph of the late actor.

The BJP, however, insists all this has nothing to do with the assembly elections slated to be held in the state later this year.

It has printed 25,000 car stickers and has been distributing it across several districts since July. “We have also got 30,000 masks with the same message and have been distributing it for some time now.

We had also been conducting meetings in Patna in groups in July first week. It is just a coincidence that some people noticed the stickers and are attributing political motives to it,” said art and culture wing convenor Varun Kumar Singh.

He added, the state convener of BJP’s art and cultural cell, said the poster was part of their campaign for justice for Sushant’s family.

BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand, however, said the campaign should not be seen from a political angle. “There should be no political interpretation of the genuine concern expressed by any forum of the state BJP. It is just meant to show solidarity with the departed actor’s family, which was craving for justice,” the BJP spokesperson said.
