Tata Nano worth Rs 22 crores
The one-of-a-kind Tata Nano, adorned with jewels, gold, silver, and diamonds, wasn’t for sale. The car, which took around eight months and more than thirty personnel to turn into a piece of mechanical jewellery, was unveiled by Tata Chairman Ratan Tata. The car was filled with valuable stones, jewels, 80 kilogrammes of gold, and 15 kilogrammes of silver. This Tata Nano full of precious metals was reported to have cost Rs 22 crore, while the normal Nano was priced at just Rs 2 lakh.
Why was it made?
Tata-owned jewellery stores around the nation were supposed to feature this unique Nano variation as a showpiece. In addition to other items, this is a great way to advertise the company’s automobile and jewellery brands.
