These Sub-Compact SUVs Will Debut this Month; Check out details

Tata Punch EV and Kia Sonet Facelift: This year was one of the most exciting years for automotive enthusiasts, but the joy does not end here. Some of the automakers are expected to showcase their highly anticipated vehicle in the end of the year i.e. December 2023. These brands include Tata Motors and Kia as both these carmakers will expectedly unveil their new offerings this month. Tata is expected to launch Punch EV and Kia has officially confirmed that the Sonet Facelift will make its global debut on December 14. Check out the details of both the upcoming vehicles below. 

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors is expected to unveil the electric variant of its popular sub-compact SUV Punch. The upcoming car has been spotted testing several times in India. Tata Punch EV is expected to get some cosmetic upgrades on the front fascia and rear as well. It seems to carry the same upgrades as the Tata Nexon EV The automakers have not released any information about the powertrain and battery pack of the upcoming EV, but the brand claims that it will be capable enough to provide more than 500 km of driving range on a solitary charge. Additionally, the SUV can also get an upgraded infotainment system. The Tata Punch EV is expected to be priced around Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom) 

Kia Sonet Facelift 

The Kia Sonet non-facelift variant already holds a sporty stance, the facelift variant is receiving some upgrades in the front fascia and rear profile. The Sonet facelift will feature an all-new front profile with new DRLs and upgraded headlamps. The SUV will also come with updated front and rear bumpers. Other elements of the compact SUV like a signature tiger nose grille will be derived from the standard variant in the facelifted Sonet. The SUV is confirmed to make its global debut on December 14. Although Kia has not released any price-related details yet, we expect that the new SUV will be priced at around Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
