1. Benefits for 25 Lakh Veterans, Union Cabinet approves a revision to the military’s OROP pension
The One Rank One Pension (OROP) for retirees from the armed forces and family pensioners will be revised as of July 1, 2019, following approval by the Union Cabinet on Friday. According to Union Minister Anurag Thakur, at a media briefing, this decision will help more than 25.13 lakh veterans.

3. 81 crore people will receive free food grains for a year
