Hyundai Ioniq 5
Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 5, an electric vehicle (EV) built on the same E-GMP all-electric architecture as the Kia EV6. But because Hyundai is building the Ioniq 5 domestically, it has been able to significantly lower the price of the EV6 by a stunning Rs 15 lakh!
The EV6 has an all-wheel drive option, but the Ioniq 5 is only offered in a long-range, rear-wheel drive variant. The minimalist aesthetic of this “World Car of the Year 2022” extends to both its exterior and interior design. However, it is also extremely luxurious thanks to innovations like an augmented reality heads-up display, ADAS, and twin screens.
Hyundai Ioniq 6
The Ioniq 6 is the sedan version of the Ioniq 5, and in its matte black colour, it is svelte and ominous. Want to move quickly and stealthily? Due to its alleged range of up to 610km and its strong 325PS electric motor, you can do so for extended periods of time. Its low coefficient of drag is 0.21 Cd.
Tata Sierra EV
According to some, the Sierra EV stole the show on day one of Auto Expo 2023. The concept that was displayed at the previous exhibition has evolved somewhat, and Tata has confirmed that the design, the interior, the seating arrangement, etc. have all been finalised for production. The Sierra will receive an ICE variant similar to the Curvv and will be offered alongside the Curvv in Tata’s future SUV portfolio.
Kia EV9 Concept
The EV9 concept was on display at Kia, a sibling company of Hyundai. This concept, which made its premiere at the 2021 LA Auto Show, is a demonstration of just how inventive Kia can be. The E-GMP platform is pushed to its physical boundaries by this. It sports enormous wheels, butch and upright styling, and a futuristic spin on Kia’s iconic “Tiger Nose,” which is merged into the “Tiger Face.” Suicide doors and unusual seating are still present, despite the interior’s simpler twin-screen configuration and more basic design.
Tata Harrier EV
The Harrier EV was one of the two Tata EVs that were on display on the first day of the auto show. It is based on a combination of the Omega-Arc and the Gen 2 electric/ICE platform and is almost ready for production. The Harrier EV will also have a dual-motor AWD setup. Additionally, they will have cutting-edge technologies like networked telematics, vehicle-to-load capability, and perhaps even ADAS.
