Top affordable and powerful bikes: There has been a lot of activity in the Indian motorcycle market, and this year was especially exciting for the country’s motorcycle enthusiasts because numerous manufacturers introduced new models in the under 700cc range, giving riders a wide range of alternatives.
The Zontes 350T ADV, Keeway K300 R, and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 are a few significant releases in this category. These motorcycles are renowned for their performance, style, and practicality combination, making them ideal for long-distance touring and city commuting.
Updated versions of several other manufacturers’ well-known models in this category were also released. A closer look at each one is provided here.
Top affordable and powerful bikes
Honda CB 300F
A 293cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 24.47PS at 7500rpm and 25.6Nm at 5500rpm powers the recently released Honda CB300F. The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It gets a respectable collection of features in addition to taking styling ideas from the CB500.
KTM RC 390
KTM introduced the eagerly anticipated 2022 RC 390 in India earlier this year. It is a brand-new bike with racing-themed graphics. A full TFT panel, an all-LED lighting system with integrated blinkers, redesigned bodywork that is allegedly more aerodynamic, enhanced ergonomics, a bigger fuel tank, and a variety of safety features are included.
Keeway two-wheelers
With the K-Light 250V, Sixties 300i, and Vieste 300, the Hungarian automaker Keeway entered the Indian two-wheeler market. V-twin cruiser with a strong appearance, the K-Light 250V. 18.7PS and 19Nm are produced by its engine.
Neo-retro scooter with a unique design, the Sixties 300i. It has the strongest single-cylinder engine in its market segment. Additionally, dual-channel ABS is a standard feature.
The Keeway Vieste 300, a true maxi-scooter, comes next. It has a long windscreen and dual LED headlights that are positioned on the fascia. It and the Sixties 300i have the same drivetrain.
The K300R and K 300N, two sporty choices, help to strengthen its lineup. A 292.4cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with 27.5PS and 25Nm of torque powers both bikes. While the K 300N has a streetfighter design, the K 300 R has a supersport design.
Zontes Bikes
With its cheap line of bikes, Chinese bike manufacturer Zontes joined the Indian 350cc motorbike market. The 350X is a road-biased tourer based on the 350R, whereas the 350R is a streetfighter from Zontes. The 350T is an ADV, whereas the GK350 is a true roadster. On the other hand, the 350T ADV has wheels with tubeless spokes. The same liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine combined with six-speed gearbox power the whole range.
Royal Enfield Bikes
On March 15, Royal Enfield unveiled a softer replacement for the Himalayan. The Scram 411 is essentially an easier-to-ride, road-biased version of the Himalayan. It does away with the headlight bracing, windscreen, luggage rack, and even the multi-dial dashboard, and has a smaller 19-inch front wheel. The price is 2.03 lakh rupees
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 debut was by far the most anticipated of this year. There are many things to admire about this third bike built on the new J-platform from Enfield. It is, first and foremost, the most affordable Royal Enfield you can get, costing Rs 37,446 less than even the Classic 350. Its single-piece seat and teardrop-shaped petrol tank with knee recesses give the bike a genuine retro-roadster appearance. Also, it weighs 14 kg less than the Classic 350.
Triumph Tiget Sport 600
This March, Triumph introduced the Tiger Sport 660, its most affordable tourer, in India. Although it is built on the Trident 660, it has a unique style that stands out thanks to a split LED headlight, a tall windscreen, updated ergonomics, and mounting points for panniers. For improved stability, it even sports a sharper rake/trail and a larger 1,418mm wheelbase.
The Indian motorbike market has had a thrilling year overall in 2022, with a number of new and improved models entering the market. In the under 700cc range, there is a motorbike that is ideal for you whether you are an experienced rider searching for a new set of wheels or a beginner to the world of motorcycles.
