Tata Punch

The 1.2-litre petrol engine in Tata’s micro SUV produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque. The vehicle is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle has 187 mm of ground clearance, as well as a 7-inch touchscreen display, semi-digital instrument panel, automatic air conditioning, automatic headlights, connected car technology, and cruise control. This car starts at 6 lakh rupees ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The 1.2-litre dual jet petrol engine in Maruti’s premium hatchback produces 90 PS and 113 Newton metres of torque. This vehicle is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is also available in CNG form. This vehicle costs Rs 6.49 lakh.

Tata Altroz

This Tata car comes with three powertrain options. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 86 PS power and 113 Newton metres of torque, a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with 110 PS power and 140 Newton metres of torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 200 Newton metres of torque. All of these engines are available with a 5-speed manual transmission, with the aspirated petrol engine having a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This vehicle starts at Rs 6.24 lakh ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Maruti Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre Dual Jet petrol engine that generates 90 PS and 113 Nm of torque. On CNG, this engine produces 77 PS and 98.5 Nm of torque. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 5-speed AMT. The ex-showroom price is Rs. 6.24 lakhs.

Nissan Magnite

The Nissan Magnite comes with two petrol engines: a naturally aspirated 1-litre engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque, and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 100 PS. There are also torque options of up to 160 Nm. It has a 5-speed manual transmission option as well as a CVT transmission. The first two variants of this car are priced in the Rs.7 lakh range.
