Toyota Motor: The Japanese carmaker, is reportedly gearing up to launch updated versions of its most successful SUV in India, the Fortuner, along with the Hilux pickup truck. The new Fortuner is expected to be equipped with several next-generation features such as a sunroof, ventilated front seats, electrically-adjustable front seats, and multi-zone climate control. While the platform, engine, design, and look of both these cars are expected to remain the same, the advanced features will make them more appealing to customers. Passenger and driver airbags, power windows, anti-lock braking systems, power steering, and automatic climate control are also expected to be included.

Next-Gen Toyota Hilux Pickup Truck
The next-generation Toyota Hilux pickup truck is being launched in the global auto market under the name Tacoma, which will also be sold in India. The updated version is expected to support the I-Force Max hybrid powertrain with a V6 petrol engine that generates 437 bhp and 790 Nm of torque. However, it is speculated that the Indian market may receive the 2.8L turbo diesel engine. The Hilux is expected to be priced at around 50 lakh rupees in India. Some pictures of the new variant have already been leaked before its launch.
New Cars to be Launched
In addition to the Fortuner and the Hilux, there are rumours that Toyota will also be releasing several new cars in the Indian market; however, the names of the models have not yet been confirmed. Toyota is hoping to improve its position in the Indian market and attract more customers with the launch of these new automobiles as well as revised versions of the Fortuner and the Hilux. Although the exact release dates of these automobiles have not been disclosed as of yet, it is anticipated that they will hit the market the next year.
