Toyota Raize: Toyota Motors has presented the teaser for a brand-new car, the Toyota Raize, as part of an effort to increase its market share in the SUV segment. As a direct competitor to the Maruti Brezza, the Toyota Raize was unveiled with a new design. Although it will have characteristics that are nearly identical to those of the Brezza, its appearance will be completely different. So yet, only an image of the car has surfaced; no other information has been provided.

The Raize, on the other hand, sports a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and was also made available in the Japanese market by the company. However, the Maruti Brezza’s 1.5 litre K15C petrol engine is a launch option for it in this market. This engine generates a torque of 136 Nm and 100.6 PS. It is coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox as well as a 5-speed manual gearbox. It’s also possible that the company will sell a CNG version of the product.
Expected Features
It might incorporate a number of features from the current Maruti Brezza. Sunroof, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, TFT colour display, ambient lighting, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and twin LED projector headlights are included. For further security, the company might install sophisticated safety measures.
Design details
The automobile has an aggressive appearance. A sleek grille, a sizable air dam, and all-LED headlights are all present in this SUV. 17-inch alloy wheels are mounted on it. They have added large tail lights as well.
Toyota Raize expected price in India
The starting price of this car in Japan is JPY 1,679,000, or roughly Rs 10.9 lakh.
