Triumph Daytona 660: The Triumph Daytona 660 has now been formally teased, following its spotting during testing a few weeks ago. Not only did Triumph tease the bike’s front fascia in the teaser, but it also disclosed the bike’s global launch date—January 9, 2024. Read on to know more about this amazing bike.
Triumph Daytona 660 details
The motorcycle’s headlamps and the ‘660’ numbering on the underside of the fairing are visible in the teaser pictures. After the older model, the “Daytona 675R,” was removed from the brand’s portfolio in 2017, Triumph will bring back the “Daytona” name.
Expected powertrain details
After the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, the all-new Dayton 660 will be the third motorbike in Triumph’s 660cc series. The 660cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that powers the current supersport variant will remain the same. When combined with a 6-speed gearbox, it generates 80 BHP at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm.
Expected price in India
Price-wise, the new Triumph Daytona 660 should come in around the same range as the Tiger Sport 660 and cost more than the Trident 660. In India, the ex-showroom pricing of the Triumph Trident 660 is Rs 8.12 lakh, whereas the Tiger Sport 660 is priced at Rs 9.34 lakh.
