Triumph Scrambler 400 X & Triumph Speed 400: The mid-size bike market has recently seen some fresh competitors. where Hero MotoCorp and Harley Davidson debuted the x440, the company’s most affordable motorcycle. In conjunction with Bajaj Auto, the British company Triumph debuted its two models, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400. The company’s Speed 400 bike is their most affordable model. These bikes are shown competing against Royal Enfield. The unique aspect is that in India, more than 10,000 reservations for the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 have been made within 10 days.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X & Triumph Speed 400 powertrain details

Both models are powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled engine that generates 39.5 BHP at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The 6-speed gearbox is coupled to the engine through a torque-assist clutch.

Features

In addition to other features, the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have all-LED lighting, ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, an immobiliser, and a largely digital instrument panel.

Design details

The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have a neo-retro design thanks to the “teardrop” fuel tanks and circular parts, such as the LED headlight, LED turn indicators, rear-view mirrors, and LED tail lights.

The recognisable Triumph design element has been included to heighten the neo-retro vibe even further. All models have high-quality hardware, which has an effect on the motorcycles’ overall stance and appearance.
