Triumph Speed 400 to Get Costlier After December 31; Check Details

Triumph Speed 400: Triumph launched Speed 400 in July in India. The company offered a feature-loaded bike at a luring price tag of Rs. 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). But the bike is about to get costlier soon as the introductory prices for the Speed 400 are ending on December 31. 

Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are produced by Bajaj Auto Chakan production facility. Triumph Speed 400 is more affordable than the Scrambler 400X, but the latter comes with improved power and features. Whereas, the Triumph Speed 400 comes with a price tag of Rs. 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the more capable, Triumph Scrambler 400X is priced at Rs. 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. 

Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X

Both Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X come equipped with the same 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine fuel injected TR series engine which generates the maximum power power of 39.5 bhp and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm. The powerhouse comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch. The Scrambler 400 X’s engine is tuned to provide better engine braking to ride freely on the trails.

In terms of features, the bike comes with an analogue speedometer coupled with a digital instrument cluster. Talking about the Scrambler 400 X, the bike features switchable traction control, an immobilizer and all LED lighting.
