Triumph: Enduro and SuperMotocross are two of the most exciting motorsports, and Triumph Motorcycles want a piece of the action. The British bike manufacturer has announced that it will compete in the Monster Energy AMA SuperMotocross World Championship in the United States in 2024.
To begin, Triumph will enter the 250cc class with two new four-stroke MX bikes developed in collaboration with Bobby Hewitt (Triumph Racing Team Owner). Ricky Carmichael, a well-known motocross champion, will also be assisting Triumph in the development of the MX bikes.
Triumph does not intend to stop there, and will compete in the 450cc premier class MX championship in 2025. Triumph’s in-house team is developing and testing 450cc MX bikes for the same purpose.
In addition, Triumph’s 250cc and 450cc MX bikes will enter series production and be sold in international markets later.
The British marque is not in a hurry, preferring to establish itself and its bikes in the 250cc segment first, before moving on to the 450cc MX bike segment.
